Fox Creek Wins Region IV Soccer (4-24-07)

Fox Creek High School finished in first place for the season in Class A Region IV Soccer April 24^th with a 5-2 victory over Wagener-Salley high School.  The victory improved the team to an 8-7 overall and 5-0 in the region putting a lock on the first place finish for Fox Creek.  Chris “Bob” Zietlow and Cameron Coughenour had 2 goals each, with Hugo Le Tennier contributing another.  Drew Wheeler recorded 8 saves in goal.  This is the fourth Class A Region IV Championship for FCHS this year; the other three were in Volleyball, Softball, and Baseball.

Fox Creek Soccer in First Place

The Fox Creek High School Soccer Team improved to 3-0 in the region and 5-5 overall with an impressive 4-0 win over Wagener-Salley.  Cameron Coughenour, Patrick Hughes, Dillon Thomasson, and Hugo Le Tennier all provided a goal in the victory.  Goalie Bob Zietlow recorded 8 saves, and Adam Baker recorded 1 save.  The win puts Fox Creek in sole possession of first place in Class A Region IV.
